Vonage Review:
I was very displeased with this service. I had DSL internet connection but if i was on the internet my phone quality was either very bad or even more frequently non-exsistant. The vonage router caused interference with my bellsouth router slowing my internet connection even when not on the phone. The 30 bucks a month is about the same for a regular phone line now so there's no real savings anyway and if you decide you don't like it before 2 years is up they hit you with an immediate charge (not at the time of the next due bill) to your credit card for 39.99 as if i should be happy it's under $40? then to add insult you'll talk to a foreigner for about thirty minutes justifing yourself against a manipulative sales pitch just to disconnect it. Avoid the Vonage scam.

Vonage Review:
Vonage started out being a good product. I have been using it for almost 3 years. I can not fax on my vonage line because of poor quality, call waiting makes a loud noise that makes it impossible to hear your current caller and now they are going to charge $1.49 per call to 411. I have disabled my 411 and will soon be changing to different VOIP.

Vonage Review:
I have been pleased overall with the quality of service and customer support. I did have some issues with an echo problem which when researched found as a common issue on VOIP. Customer support walked me through all the items that I had previously done, but also tried a few others. I was very surprised that their support staff took the time to call me back several times to check up on the issue. In the end I was sent a new Vonage Adapter. Connected it and called to have it set to my time zone. Since than, we have not noticed the echo.
I am pleased with their service and love the web based account control.
While VOIP is not for everyone, those that have some technical expertise can save a bundle on long distance and local calls.
Vonage has handled my account well.

Vonage Review:
I've used for over three years. Customer service has become a little weaker. Reps want you to go through step after step to see what's wrong rather than check their system. I've found every time something has been wrong at the Vonage end. I finally started telling the rep there is no point in having their system if they can't make it work; this gets a pretty fast response.

Since July of 2004 the fees on my 24.99 plan have gone from about $2.00 to a whopping $7.53 a month! To me it is outrageous. I am shopping a better deal right now. I also have constant sound quality issues like crackling and breaking up. If you're looking to be a vonage customer, I recommend shopping around first.

This has to be the AT&T of the VOIP telephone services. They nickel and dime you to death and they don't even have explanations for 50% of the extra charges.
I use the 500 minute service, of which i use maybe 150 minutes a monthe (we have cellphones)
The monthly charge is $17.90 which went up from $15.90 I think, but on top of that you have to pay almost 50% in fees, for what??, I'm using skype for overseas calls, because the quality is better

Swithed from viatalk to vonage which solved my problems of modem failure and needing a reset. However, they need to add a feature- call block.
They don't have it and don't appear to be interested in getting it.

I have been using their service since October 2008. The sound quality is something that has been constantly a problem for me. Additionally the response from customer service is deteriorating and the representative are more indifferent to the issues. Recently the monthly bill has risen by $2.50.

Vonage Review:
I was having issues from day 1. The customer service personal were difficult to understand and very scripted. When I asked for a supervisor I was passed to another non English scripted person. I described my issue numerous times and was given responses unrelated to my issue.Vonage was a waste of time unable to resolve my dispute and canceled my service. The e-mail read canceled at my request. (Not) I ended up loosing my phone number of 23years.

Vonage Review:
I finally dropped this horrible service. And it cost me an extra $40.00. I was initially told I would have to wait a year to cancel without a termination fee. Then, when I waited a year, they claimed I still have to pay a disconnect fee; the year wait was so I don't have to pay for their modem. All customer service/tech support is based in India; many were rude and few were helpful as I spent months trying to get it to work properly. There are MUCH better alternatives--stay away and wait for them to go bankrupt.
