PhonePower Review

PhonePower Provides Top-Quality Service With Unmatched Deals

Out of all the major VoIP providers we have reviewed, PhonePower is our number one choice. PhonePower's excellent call quality, prices, and customer satisfaction combine to give them a head up on all of their competitors. Their service has consistently received the highest reviews in the industry from current customers, and they are well on their way to becoming a main-stay provider in the VoIP market. PhonePower's call quality is indistinguishable from traditional analog phone service, and they have worked hard to establish an excellent infrastructure that will be around to serve your phone needs for years to come.

Low-cost monthly service is the number one reason for switching to VoIP, and PhonePower does not disappoint in this category. If you want to pay month-to-month without any contracts or obligations, you can try PhonePower for only $19.95/mo. With this plan, you can cancel anytime. But the best deals are for those who are willing to commit to longer-term plans. PhonePower is currently offering their service for $16.95/mo if you sign a 1-year contract, and only $14.95/mo if you sign up for 2 years. If you're willing to pay in advance, however, you can get 2 years of service for only $199.95, which comes out to $8.33/mo. This is hands-down the best pricing available in the VoIP industry. PhonePower also offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their plans, and show customers the full price of their service before purchasing, including additional fees and taxes. Surprisingly, the taxes and fees come out to only an extra $3.00/mo on most plans.

PhonePower service also includes the full range of features available through traditional phone providers, plus some additional features unique to them. Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Speed Dial, 3-Way Calling, Caller ID Blocking and other traditional services are included free. In addition, PhonePower includes advanced features such as Simultaneous Ring (incoming calls ring on all of your phones), Find Me Follow Me (tries your home number first, then your work, cell, etc.), Do Not Disturb, Voicemail sent to email, Click2Call (place a call using your computer), Caller ID Management (choose what information displays on other people's caller IDs when you call them), and On-Hold Music. As far as phone numbers are concerned, you can transfer your existing number to PhonePower without any interruption of service - they do all the work and you won't have to lift a finger. You can also assign yourself a phone number in any U.S. area code. The possibilities are endless.

PhonePower waives the $15 setup fee for any online orders, so the only startup cost is the $14.95 shipping and handling for your equipment. The equipment (a box that connects your normal phone to your broadband modem) is free and very easy to install. If you have problems, their customer service is hands-down the most helpful in the industry. With its bargain price, top-of-the-line quality and reliability, and full range of features, PhonePower is the best VoIP offer on the market. If you're thinking about switching to VoIP, try PhonePower today.

PhonePower Review:

I just received my unit and had trouble getting it setup due to my complex network setup. But repeatedly, they called me back asking if i had resolved my issue after calling them the first time. They called me Saturday afternoon and EVEN sunday morning. That is called customer service which is 24 hours a day 7 days a week. So far the difference between VOIP and my normal phone is no difference at all. I do not mind at all paying for great quality service with spectacular customer service. The tech support also conferenced call with me to my DSL provider which was never a possibility with other service that i've had. They also come with many features that i enjoy. I looked at VONAGE, and packet8, but with all the great reviews of this place, felt like giving them a try.

PhonePower Review:

I got off to a shaky start but ended up happy in the end. When I first got the service I hooked it up Cable Modem / VOIP Adapter / Wireless Router. This is the instructed way. I had it like this for the first 10 days I had the service and was ready to cancel because the service did not stay working for a single 12 hour period during that time. Every time it quit working I would have to restart the Cable Modem and VOIP Adapter to get back to working. Customer service had me put the VOIP Adapter in bridged mode to where everything just passed right threw and it was not also routing but this did not help. I new my router had settings in it that would allow the VOIP traffic to be prioritized so I decided after about ten days just for kicks since I had made up my mind I was going to cancel if thing did not get better that I would put the VOIP Adapter after the router making the setup Cable Modem / Wireless Router / VOIP Adapter. Well that solved my problems. The service has not quit working since. Something I am doing that is probably not recommended is that I am feeding the entire house with this service. I completely disconnected standard service at the box coming into the house and I plugged the output of my VOIP adapter into one of my home phone plugs. I have two Dish Network receivers connected and both call home and display Caller Id just fine with this service. I also have two standard phone connected which also work fine. In the end I am pleased over all. I would say call quality is as good as standard phone service or better. As far as price is concerned this is not even half what I was paying for standard phone service with less features.
