PhonePower Provides Top-Quality Service With Unmatched Deals
Out of all the major VoIP providers we have reviewed, PhonePower is our number one choice. PhonePower's excellent call quality, prices, and customer satisfaction combine to give them a head up on all of their competitors. Their service has consistently received the highest reviews in the industry from current customers, and they are well on their way to becoming a main-stay provider in the VoIP market. PhonePower's call quality is indistinguishable from traditional analog phone service, and they have worked hard to establish an excellent infrastructure that will be around to serve your phone needs for years to come.
Low-cost monthly service is the number one reason for switching to VoIP, and PhonePower does not disappoint in this category. If you want to pay month-to-month without any contracts or obligations, you can try PhonePower for only $19.95/mo. With this plan, you can cancel anytime. But the best deals are for those who are willing to commit to longer-term plans. PhonePower is currently offering their service for $16.95/mo if you sign a 1-year contract, and only $14.95/mo if you sign up for 2 years. If you're willing to pay in advance, however, you can get 2 years of service for only $199.95, which comes out to $8.33/mo. This is hands-down the best pricing available in the VoIP industry. PhonePower also offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their plans, and show customers the full price of their service before purchasing, including additional fees and taxes. Surprisingly, the taxes and fees come out to only an extra $3.00/mo on most plans.
PhonePower service also includes the full range of features available through traditional phone providers, plus some additional features unique to them. Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Speed Dial, 3-Way Calling, Caller ID Blocking and other traditional services are included free. In addition, PhonePower includes advanced features such as Simultaneous Ring (incoming calls ring on all of your phones), Find Me Follow Me (tries your home number first, then your work, cell, etc.), Do Not Disturb, Voicemail sent to email, Click2Call (place a call using your computer), Caller ID Management (choose what information displays on other people's caller IDs when you call them), and On-Hold Music. As far as phone numbers are concerned, you can transfer your existing number to PhonePower without any interruption of service - they do all the work and you won't have to lift a finger. You can also assign yourself a phone number in any U.S. area code. The possibilities are endless.
PhonePower waives the $15 setup fee for any online orders, so the only startup cost is the $14.95 shipping and handling for your equipment. The equipment (a box that connects your normal phone to your broadband modem) is free and very easy to install. If you have problems, their customer service is hands-down the most helpful in the industry. With its bargain price, top-of-the-line quality and reliability, and full range of features, PhonePower is the best VoIP offer on the market. If you're thinking about switching to VoIP, try PhonePower today.

PhonePower Review:
I tried phone power after reading very high reviews..The call quality was not nearly as good as my cable internet phone.
I called and used the chat line to complain that we had to stop any programs from downloading in order to have a clear conservation. I asked them to help fix the problem but they insisted it was my cable internet connection that was to blame..I also inquired about the rather small, very lightweight modem they provided..I know electronics have come a long way but it just did not seem to be a quality piece of equipment..
After a month and a half I finally canceled the service, sent the modem back and went back to my cable internet digital server..
Now my son, who is always downloading movies, can have his computer running, we are routed together with a high quality router, and I can be downloading a game for my grandson, all at the same time, and the voice quality is excellent, at both ends. before people complained that we were breaking up, or dropping words..
The people were nice. tech support got a little testy when I insisted the problem was their modem..but, I was able to cancel with no problem. I wish them well in the future but i am certain the modem is of inferior quality.. Of course the big cable companies can afford to provide heavy duty, high quality equipment...

PhonePower Review:
I switched to Phone Power over 2 months ago. I am so glad I did. They ported (transferred) my number from ViaTalk with no problems. It did take ten days, which I consider fine. I simply connected the adapter to my router and phone and powered up. Everything worked perfectly! I've been using VOIP for 4 years, and this is my best experience yet. There is relatively no delay. I had really long delay with ViaTalk over the last year or so. I also have Zingo Tel for a different home area. There is no comparison, Phone Power is better. I don't use their voicemail, I prefer my own answering machine. I will sign up for the 2 years at 199 as soon as my 3 month trial price is up. If you are considering switching from a landline, I will tell you to do it.

PhonePower Review:
I will start by saying I have had VOIP service ongoing for the past 4-5 years. I have had Sunrocket, At&t, Verizon, Comcast and now PhonePower. I will not go into detail about what caused me to try so many others since this is a review of Phonepower. But I will say Comcast was absolutely the best though also the most expensive.
I have had numerous problems from the first day service started. I have called repair numerous times and to no avail. I mention that I have a list of problems and every time I am told the same thing, they do not want to hear the list. Instead they say let’s just work on one thing for now. Here is my list of problems.
When dialing you need to be very fast. If you pause between digits more than 1 or 2 seconds you have to start over .
People I am talking to most of the time complain they hear themselves and this is very annoying to them. Sometimes I to hear myself but not near as often. Every time I answer a second person via call waiting and then return to the original call this happens.
When hanging up after a call the phone rings back as if I am getting a call but I’m not.
If I am downloading files from the internet it is sometimes impossible to have a conversation without stopping the download. The only other service that had this problem was Verizon and it was never this bad.
The last time I spoke to tech support I was told my problems where because I have 6 phones in my house. He said they do not cover inside wiring. He said just hook up one phone and see if it clears up the problem. I said to him I have had several VOIP’s working on all my phones and they did not have all these problems. Particularly the echo which is the most annoying. I said to him and if this does fixes the problem then what are you saying I can only use your system with one phone. He said no that will mean it is not phone powers problem but my wiring. I again relayed to him I did not have this problem with any other VOIP connected to all my phones. He said well just try it and then give us a call. So for the past week I did just as he said, I have only one phone hooked to the modem. Well I’m still having the same problems so I suppose I will be calling them back again though I am not looking forward to it.
I intend on calling them back this week and only hope I get better results. If not I believe I will be calling Comcast.

PhonePower Review:
Needing to reduce my monthly bills and after doing weeks of research I finally decided on PhonePower.com. It was really important to me to keep my current phone number and their porting system sounded like the easiest (and was). I placed my order on October 13 requesting activation on 10/20. Received my little device on the 16th. Directions were excellent and even an old grandmother could follow them. I hooked everything up and it worked like magic. It's been a week and a day since I placed my order and I'm totally up and running - including the porting of my phone number. I've spoken with their online chat twice - with questions. Once before I signed up and once after. Both times they were prompt, pleasant and efficient. I'm going to be saving $50+ per month from what I was paying at&t and I'm thrilled about that! I can't believe how fast and easy (and economical) this has been!!! I look forward to a long relationship with PhonePower.com!

PhonePower Review:
After reviewing few VOIP providedrs in my area I picked PhonePower based on website reviews, and great value. Before I opened my account I needed some question answered. I used e-mail communication and I'm happy to report that I got an answer not even 2 hours later with clear answers. Opening account on-line couldn't be any easier. After I rececived phone modem it took me less then 20 minutes to install it, following easy set up instructions from manual. That includes 10-15 minutes of first time modem initialization. So far I placed only one test phone call, but only from the dial tone sound, I could tell that it was strong and clear. It is worth mentioning that I use 10Mbits cable conection. Also my old phone number was transfered from phone company without any problem. I have chosen "no contract" plan, but if I'm happy with PhonePower, I'll switch to prepaid 2 year contract. So far I'm more than happy.

PhonePower Review:
I used to be with SunRocket. They went belly-up on my birthday and I ended thinking no one cared. But really, no one could call me. I decided I'd be one of those who had only a cell phone, but I use the phone so little, the cost price was turning out just as bad as having a land line, so I started hunting around for another VOIP provider. I already knew to stay far, far away from Vonage. Before going with SunRocket I had been with Packet 8, which was where they suggested SunRocket customers go, and there was NO WAY I'd go back with them. I had DUMPED them! Enter PhonePower. Against my better judgment that I hope doesn't turn around to bite me, I signed up for the 2 year service. I waited for my equipment, and when it arrived reviews the hook-up instructions. I am one of those dorks who reads through the instructions before doing anything. I know that shows a lack of guts, but it's just the way I am. The instructions read, and I quote, "Connect your cable or DSL modem's Ethernet cable into the HT502's WAN port. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable that came with your HT502 into the LAN port..." Not only did the phone not work, but my internet stopped working, too. I had to use my prepaid cell phone to call tech support and got the bottom rung of communication ability. He told me to do exactly what I had done--exactly what the instruction said to do--and it still didn't work. I entered the codes to give him remote access, and ran some command on the PC. Nothing. I had to keep hurrying him along because I am the IT contact for our department at work. Not because I'm a pro or anything, but because I can troubleshoot and read directions. Then the charmer said, "Are you sure you have the cable from the modem in the WAN port?" Why yes, I'm sure. "Would you double-check, because you sound a little overconfident... EXCUSE ME??? Yeah, that's what he said. He even repeated himself. I replied very slowly, a little Dr. Suess-like, so that he could understand, "The cable that was in my modem is black. I put the black cable in the port that says WAN. The cable that came with the unit is blue. I put the blue cable in the port that says LAN. I put the other end of the blue cable in the same port the black one came out of from the modem. I'm looking right it. No, sir, I am not overconfident. May I speak to a supervisor?" There was more, but I'll spare you. After I was left on hold he said the supervisor was busy and could he call back. I said I was going to confidently play with it some more, and if I decide I'm not sending the garbage back, I will call HIM. I plugged in my modem again so I could send an email, and let fly. I got a response that effectively said to do the reverse of what the tech and the written instruction said. Huh? Well, I'm all for trying new things, so I did. And it worked! Yeah, dude, had I been overconfident, the thing would have been working. Okay, so the phone works now. And works very well. As long as I never have to call support again, I'll been happy to keep it.

PhonePower Review:
I want to add my comments about PhonePower because I used VOIP reviews to help make my decision about which VOIP company to choose. I've used PhonePower for a month and a half and have been very please. AT&T raised their rates for caller ID, so I switched my land line to VOIP so I could get caller ID and long distance calling at a cheaper rate. I don't make a lot of calls on my land line, so PhonePower's 500 outgoing minute deal for $14.95 per month fit the bill. I tested it out for a couple weeks to make sure it was working fine. I then called and asked to have my home number ported to my PhonePower line. PhonePower informed me I would have to pay $15 to change my number, so I told them I would switch to Lingo if they didn't waive the charge, at which point they waived the charge. They ported my number on time, I disconnected the AT&T POTS wiring coming into my home and plugged the phone power box directly into a phone jack. I now have VOIP at every phone jack in my home.

Did not even get a chance to try. A glitch in their system would not accept my credit card, although 5 pre-ops at 1 dollar each were charged. Their alleged customer service told me to keep trying. Finally they figured out (with my help) the problem, and stated they had no way to take my order manually. Totally incompetent. Glad I did not get their dis-service.

I searched and found PhonePower and figured I'd give them a try. AM I GLAD I DID! The sound quality is outstanding and NO DEAD/DROPPED CALLS at all make this service NUMBER ONE in my book. They keep improving on their web site and the features they offer just keep getting better and better. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK PHONEPOWER! FYI....FYI.... I had (and got stuck with) VoIP.com for a year when SunRocket went belly up. They are one service that should not be in business! Read the reviews and judge for yourself.
