PhonePower Review

PhonePower Provides Top-Quality Service With Unmatched Deals

Out of all the major VoIP providers we have reviewed, PhonePower is our number one choice. PhonePower's excellent call quality, prices, and customer satisfaction combine to give them a head up on all of their competitors. Their service has consistently received the highest reviews in the industry from current customers, and they are well on their way to becoming a main-stay provider in the VoIP market. PhonePower's call quality is indistinguishable from traditional analog phone service, and they have worked hard to establish an excellent infrastructure that will be around to serve your phone needs for years to come.

Low-cost monthly service is the number one reason for switching to VoIP, and PhonePower does not disappoint in this category. If you want to pay month-to-month without any contracts or obligations, you can try PhonePower for only $19.95/mo. With this plan, you can cancel anytime. But the best deals are for those who are willing to commit to longer-term plans. PhonePower is currently offering their service for $16.95/mo if you sign a 1-year contract, and only $14.95/mo if you sign up for 2 years. If you're willing to pay in advance, however, you can get 2 years of service for only $199.95, which comes out to $8.33/mo. This is hands-down the best pricing available in the VoIP industry. PhonePower also offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their plans, and show customers the full price of their service before purchasing, including additional fees and taxes. Surprisingly, the taxes and fees come out to only an extra $3.00/mo on most plans.

PhonePower service also includes the full range of features available through traditional phone providers, plus some additional features unique to them. Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Speed Dial, 3-Way Calling, Caller ID Blocking and other traditional services are included free. In addition, PhonePower includes advanced features such as Simultaneous Ring (incoming calls ring on all of your phones), Find Me Follow Me (tries your home number first, then your work, cell, etc.), Do Not Disturb, Voicemail sent to email, Click2Call (place a call using your computer), Caller ID Management (choose what information displays on other people's caller IDs when you call them), and On-Hold Music. As far as phone numbers are concerned, you can transfer your existing number to PhonePower without any interruption of service - they do all the work and you won't have to lift a finger. You can also assign yourself a phone number in any U.S. area code. The possibilities are endless.

PhonePower waives the $15 setup fee for any online orders, so the only startup cost is the $14.95 shipping and handling for your equipment. The equipment (a box that connects your normal phone to your broadband modem) is free and very easy to install. If you have problems, their customer service is hands-down the most helpful in the industry. With its bargain price, top-of-the-line quality and reliability, and full range of features, PhonePower is the best VoIP offer on the market. If you're thinking about switching to VoIP, try PhonePower today.

I think phonepower will put all the other VoIP companies out of business. They're very cheap and have given excellent service so far.

PhonePower Review:

About Phone Power: They speak English; They answer the phone; They are very friendly and helpful; Their price is right. The only thing I regret is taking so long to decide on who to switch to..... I was way overdue in replacing my voip provider "Myphonecompany.com" but not wanting to make another mistake I was doing my research. I looked at many . Finally tired of looking, one day I was about to just order when I ran into "Phone Power." The reviews & price were enough to make me order that very day. NO regrets on this choice. If you are looking to switch or this is your first time I would stop looking and go for it with Phone Power. 5 stars

PhonePower Review:

The web site offers a few features like "click2call" that, would be really great but unfortunately was dialing the wrong numbers for me. I would click a friends number and get my mom, tried the same one and then got my wife, neither time did I get the number I wanted. customer service seemed really good, I called them after already finished setup just to check the wait time and responce, and was impressed, also their replies to emails we very fast. sound quality is on par with a POTS line, very clear and no lag. I'm hopeing they come out with some software to make teh click2call and voicemail checking easier, but for the price, $9.95 for 6 months, I'm not complaining.

PhonePower Review:

I love being able to talk with customer service in the USA when I have problems, of which I have some that they still can't resolve after 6 months; to wit, when I insert the PhonePower Grandstream modem after my 2Wire modem and before my computer and telephones, I get data drop for a few seconds every minutes or so, both on my phone and my computer downstream of the Grandstream modem. The only thing that stops this is to bridge over my 2Wire modem but then other computers connected to the 2Wire modem won't work as it no longer has an IP address. I love everything else about PhonePower but will have to change providers at the end of my contract as it is unacceptable to have "holes" in my conversations and to be unable to download large files without wiring around the Grandstream modem. Their customer service has tried many things to fix the issue but none have worked. I have the same problem when I take their Grandstream modem to another location where I have different phones, different computers and a different 2Wire modem.

PhonePower Review:

Ok, I dont normally do this, but I had to write something in this case. These guys are great! If youre looking for a VOIP provider, look no further; forget about the rest. First, save your money. When I was looking for a provider these guys had the pay for one year, get the second year free deal; not sure if that is still on; but I know that I cut our phone bill from about $55 with Cox, to under $10 a month (and thats with any long distance charges). Second, the quality; of all the folks that I called, they said the sound quality was 5 out of 5. Third, ease of installation. Getting hooked up was a breeze. Forth tech support is outstanding. After I hooked up the adapter, I couldnt get a dial tone on the second line. I called their 1-800 number got a specialist on the line right away, and within minutes, he was able to correct the problem. One thing I like is when you log on to your account, you can see all the details of your calls and if you don’t want to receive a call for a number, all you have to do is click “block” for that number. You’ll never get a call again from that number, until you unblock it – great for telemarketers that like to call during dinner. I can go on and on, but trust me, you can’t go wrong. Know I feel better knowing that I’ve done my good dead for the day!

PhonePower Review:

I have had Phone Power for a month now and I am extremely pleased. They are my third VOIP provider and by far the best. I received my ATA within a few days and although I had to call in to get help with installation (some settings had to be changed by tech support) I was up and running quickly. I didn't have to wait long to speak to someone and they were very competent. I have had only occasional, MINOR echoing and that is only when both of our computers are online. But even then, people on the other line can't hear anything and the echoing isn't even bad enough or constant enough to be distracting to me. With the other services I had, the echoing and distortion was so bad at times, I couldn't handle using my phone and the other person would even hear the same echoing...terrible! The price is right and I am finally a very happy VOIP customer!

PhonePower Review:

switched from Vonage to Phone power. Numer transportation was easy, took over two weeks, but you were able to use their service as soon as you recive the telephone adapter. Setup was just as easy as Vonage, and the Phone quality is Well beyond what vonage was. NO QUALITY ISSUES WHAT SO EVER! Contacting technical support to setup my TA was short and easy, as someone answered the phone within a few minutes of calling. Within 5 minutes we were up and on our way. This service comes with More features than VONAGE. I specifically like the call blocking feature that allows you to block specific numbers, they get a bussy signal. Great feature to block out those pesky telemarketers who keep calling. I am very happy with the price and the service. I am running this service with an 8 meg comcast connection. Nothing bad to report what so ever!

PhonePower Review:

After doing lots of research, I finally decided to go with PhonePower for my VoIP service. I was really tired of paying Verizon over $60 a month when we don't use the phone that much. I received the PhonePower equipment a couple of days after ordering and they had my phone number ported on the day I requested. The equipment was super easy to hook up and, so far, it's been working great. I did send Customer Service a couple of e-mails, which were answered very quickly. After cloning my number and rebooting the PhonePower box, I did lose my phone and internet (it just needed to rebooted again). I called Customer Support (they answered right away) and the tech rep was super nice and very helpful. He had me back online in a couple of minutes. It's only been a few days for me but, so far, I'm impressed and would recommend this service to anyone who's tired of paying too much for a land line with less than half of the features included with PhonePower. I subscribed to the year for $200 and the second year is free...$100 a year vs $60 a month is a no brainer.
