PhonePower Review

PhonePower Provides Top-Quality Service With Unmatched Deals

Out of all the major VoIP providers we have reviewed, PhonePower is our number one choice. PhonePower's excellent call quality, prices, and customer satisfaction combine to give them a head up on all of their competitors. Their service has consistently received the highest reviews in the industry from current customers, and they are well on their way to becoming a main-stay provider in the VoIP market. PhonePower's call quality is indistinguishable from traditional analog phone service, and they have worked hard to establish an excellent infrastructure that will be around to serve your phone needs for years to come.

Low-cost monthly service is the number one reason for switching to VoIP, and PhonePower does not disappoint in this category. If you want to pay month-to-month without any contracts or obligations, you can try PhonePower for only $19.95/mo. With this plan, you can cancel anytime. But the best deals are for those who are willing to commit to longer-term plans. PhonePower is currently offering their service for $16.95/mo if you sign a 1-year contract, and only $14.95/mo if you sign up for 2 years. If you're willing to pay in advance, however, you can get 2 years of service for only $199.95, which comes out to $8.33/mo. This is hands-down the best pricing available in the VoIP industry. PhonePower also offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all of their plans, and show customers the full price of their service before purchasing, including additional fees and taxes. Surprisingly, the taxes and fees come out to only an extra $3.00/mo on most plans.

PhonePower service also includes the full range of features available through traditional phone providers, plus some additional features unique to them. Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Forwarding, Speed Dial, 3-Way Calling, Caller ID Blocking and other traditional services are included free. In addition, PhonePower includes advanced features such as Simultaneous Ring (incoming calls ring on all of your phones), Find Me Follow Me (tries your home number first, then your work, cell, etc.), Do Not Disturb, Voicemail sent to email, Click2Call (place a call using your computer), Caller ID Management (choose what information displays on other people's caller IDs when you call them), and On-Hold Music. As far as phone numbers are concerned, you can transfer your existing number to PhonePower without any interruption of service - they do all the work and you won't have to lift a finger. You can also assign yourself a phone number in any U.S. area code. The possibilities are endless.

PhonePower waives the $15 setup fee for any online orders, so the only startup cost is the $14.95 shipping and handling for your equipment. The equipment (a box that connects your normal phone to your broadband modem) is free and very easy to install. If you have problems, their customer service is hands-down the most helpful in the industry. With its bargain price, top-of-the-line quality and reliability, and full range of features, PhonePower is the best VoIP offer on the market. If you're thinking about switching to VoIP, try PhonePower today.

PhonePower Review:

I have had Phone power service approx 8 mos. The reliability and connection are great. I had some trouble at the initial install, but the (ENGLISH SPEAKING, AMERICAN)tech support guys very patiently walked me through some setups on their device that would not have even been possible on my prev VOIP providers device. They even made several test calls to be sure it was operating correctly. The only feature that I miss from my old provider is the incoming fax-pdf feature that would allow me to receive faxes as a pdf file sent to my email. I have continued my phone power svc because of my confidence in the tech support dept.

PhonePower Review:

I had a problem with the installation. I used live chat with tech assist and had the problem corrected in minutes. Turned out to be a problem with my system because of the router I was using. The tech stayed with me while the changes were made and now have great service, crystal clear and very reliable. Kept my old number, which was very important, phone power handled all the details to switch from old provider, simple, great.

PhonePower Review:

I have only had PhonePower for a brief period, but so far have had great call quality. As another reviewer mentioned I have to turn the volume down on the phones, they really have their system tweeked well. I am not new to VoIP. I've had Vonage, Lingo, Sunrocket, and Voip.com.. Based on my initial experience I am more than satisfied with the level of call quality I have. I have had VoIP service for years and PhonePower is equal or better to anything I've had so far. For those of you who haven't had VoIP before, I offer one caution if you have a horrible internet connection you will have horrible phone service. That is the nature of the animal, you have no internet connection you will have no phone.

PhonePower Review:

Phone Power is great. I first had Sunrocket which was great when they were still in business. I had to make a quick switch to another provider and at that time VOIP.com was fine but earlier this year VOIP.com phone service seemed to go downhill since I had to power cycle my Linksys VOIP device every week due to some system reset from VOIP.com and my international calls to China were not going through often. Thus, I figured VOIP.com was going out of business soon just like Sunrocket did. Thus, I changed to Phone Power based on reviews on this internet VOIP review site. Thank goodness too. If PhonePower continues this great service for more than a year, I'll consider PhonePower to be in the same class of uptime service as my ATT landline. Yeah for PhonePower. Please keep up the good work!!!

PhonePower Review:

I had Packet8 for about 3 years and have been fairly satisfied with their service. They provided a free voip phone, an easy web site, reasonable rates, and their customer service was always helpfull. However, my deal breaker with them was that they recently raised my rates with only 5 days notice. I researched PhonePower and found that their rates were very reasonable, and they had a professional web site. I was a little concerned that they only offered a analog phone adapter, but since I had an existing analog phone that I liked, I thought I would try it. When I received the adapter, I had a significant issue setting up the adapter for the first time. As a result, I spent a few hours resolving the problem with PhonePower's customer service. However, ever since, I have been very happy the service. I was concerned about the compatibility of my analog phone (eg. receiving a vm notifications). Though, this doesn't seem to be an issue and all features appear to working as advertised. It was also, very easy to transfer my existing number. The quality is good, and even though operating the second line was a little confusing at first, this is a great option to have at no additional cost. Switching to PhonePower was very easy. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to switch their existing analog phone to voip.

PhonePower Review:

I have to tell you I was not happy paying Verizon $54.00 a month for local and At&T 30-40 per month for what?! Any way I started searching VOIP services and it led me to Phone Power. I ordered the month to month for $22.95 and received my equipment in about 7 days. The instructions were very clear and easy to hook up. I disconnected everything from my phone system and computer and started from scratch. I didn't realize that it was for only one phone in the house as I have 6 on the same line and an alarm system. I panicked. Long story short I talked to the IT guy where I work and he had just had Bright house hook his VOIP service up. I followed his instructions to the letter and it worked perfectly. Step 1 disconnect the local service provider line outside the house inside the little gray box. You need a 3'8 inch socked or nut driver and a straight blade screwdriver. I removed the incoming two wires and unplugged the RJ11 phone type connector and taped it over. This keeps the Pots line or local service provider's system from shorting out your new system. Step 2 disconnect the phone line from the phone by my computer and follow the instructions from Phone power except that you need a one into two phone line splitter which I got from Wal Mart in the cordless telephone section of the store for about $5.00 this allows you to plug the two phone lines into one line adapter into the port one port 1 line and back feed your whole house the signal so you can make all your lines work from the new router box from Phone Power. It is a very tight fit! You disconnect your phone and line then plug the two way adapter into the port one then plug the phone back in and the line you took out of the phone. This back feeds the lines and is what sends the signal through your house instead of the phone company line. My alarm system worked as well when it got the new dial tone from the Phone Power box. The sound is very clear and much stronger than before. I had to turn the volume down a bit on all my phones. Do yourself a favor and call your provid! ers yourself to notify them. I know Phone Power says they will but make sure by following up yourself. Over all after 15-20 minutes it worked as described! Good Luck and don't wait like I did a kid could follow the directions provided by Phone Power!

PhonePower Review:

This is my 3rd VoIP line. The first company stopped service in my area. The second company had terrible CS and I think they are now out of business. Phone Power has given me everything I could ask for and then some. The CS reps have been polite (the 2 times I had to call in which had nothing to do with service just questions I had) I have had phone power now for over a year and I dont plan on changing!!
