Lingo is a Solid Provider and Offers the Best Plan for Frequent International Callers

Lingo is a very good all-around value. You can pay as little as $4.95 for the first month on any of their plans. Their unlimited U.S. and Canada plan costs $19.95/mo - a good value - but for only $4 more ($23.95/mo), you can get unlimited calling to anyone in not only the U.S. and Canada but also anyone in the top 30 most called international destinations. They are the only leading provider who offers a very affordable plan with unlimited calling to 100 top countries in Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and some Asian countries.

Even if you never call internationally, Lingo's price, functionality and reliability make a great choice for VoIP service. Their call quality and service reliability is excellent. On top of this, Overall, Lingo is a good choice due to their excellent value, range of features, and highly reliable quality service.

Lingo Review:

These people are frauds. I took the service because they daid that calls to Bangladesh were unlimited for $24.00. Even before I got my equipment, they started charing me and took out the info which mentioned that calls to cell phones in Bangladesh were also unlimited. It seems like they have hidden restrictions hidden throughout their website and when they want to they threaten your service saying that you are breaking your terms of service. Now they have limited thei monthly minutes to 5000 but when I went over 650 minutes (1st month $4.95), they sent an e-mail saying that I have broken my terms and they may terminate thei service. I have complained to FCC and also sent Lingo customer service an e-mail for explanation, I also left an voicemail at customer service to call me back regarding their e-mail, no response. These people are frauds, buyer beware.

Lingo Review:

I am extremely dissatisfied with Lingo. The sound quality was very poor, there were several times when I had a connection problem. And when I canceled Lingo, they kept billing me for 2 months. When I tried to dispute the billing, it was never resolved, even after spending 3 hours with customer service. I'M EXTREMLY DISSATISFIED!

Lingo Review:

Used service for a few years. Now with Vonage and now I know how bad Lingo was. Really 3rd rate company with horrible customer service and poor connection quality. Used to be cheaper than others, now just as expensive. Spend slightly more for Vonage or anyone else is worth a shot.

Lingo Review:

I have used lingo since 2004. There were a few hickup early on with chopy connections and dropped lines. In the recent years service has improved remarkably. Customer service has been very good as well, with cooperative and responsive agents. I am waiting for Lingo's competitive response to Vonage's feature rich 60 nation blitz nation blitz.

Lingo Review:

Calls are always noisy, and the initiation to receipt of sound delay is unacceptably long. But their features, reliability and price are great.
